The scope of this project included the renovation of 29 Kindergarten classrooms and 19 bathrooms spread out over six elementary schools (Adamsville Elementary School, Crim Elementary School, Hamiliton Elementary School, VanHolten Elementary School, Milltown Elementary School, and JFK Elementary School).
Renovations included new bathroom and classroom layouts, CMU walls, electrical, HVAC, plumbing roughs & fixtures, ceilings, casework, ceramic tile, VCT flooring, and epoxy flooring. The project specifications stated work could be completed over two summers. However, we completed the work in one summer (2 months). The project was completed on time and within budget.
Coordination was key to the success of this project- we worked side by side with various contractors who were completing other projects for the school district.
